its a front... track drive, apparently two-stroke powered, engine-between-the-handlebars, hard-tail moto-sled-cycle-thing... I don't see why you're so confused, its obviously Canadian... Right?
edit: Nope, French (so close!), and the weird piping is for forced air cooling of the 350cc OHV engine... So... Um... Yeah. Its weird.
